This has been said before but please understand that AI was invented to “solve” wages. Corporates are using the AI scare to depress wages. It doesn’t have to work right or be productive to reduce workers bargaining power for higher wages.

Cuando cierran un estudio admirado y que ha demostrado que funciona no es porque no dé beneficios sino porque quieren que sintamos que la industria se está yendo a la mierda y "agradezcamos estar trabajando" porque "se nos olvidó después del confinamiento" y así poder tenernos peor en unos años.

What's happening is Unity's management (and maybe even dev team) have no understanding of casual games or why people play them, they're understood as just containers for ads

So they're doing that "well it's not good enough for thing We like, but good enough for them!"

Es descorazonador ver cómo la industria maltrata constantemente a los desarrolladores con experiencia en móvil, el elitismo más ridículo que tenemos.
I want to make it very clear that the art and skill set I have are 100% compatible with a PC first approach.

I have helped port several games to PC such as Assemble with Care, Monument Valley 1 & 2 as well as helped the workflow for MV3 to be compatible with PC/console from the beginning.

i think what a lot of people never seem to realize is that a lot of people's vision of an "epic dream game" isn't actually very deep and comes down to scale and/or having a lot of features, whereas by embracing limitations you can be pushed in a far more radical direction.
rpgmaker definitely isn't the right tool for everyone, but I think using opinionated pre-baked tools to make some games would be very instructive to a lot of folks setting out to make their epic custom dream game. they're a much lower-stakes way to learn important lessons like "how to tell a story"
