i don't agree with it, but i can see the justification for taking parayko (a dreadnought) and leaving Schaefer (a child) at home. granted, i don't watch a lot of flyers games, but i don't know why travis sanheim is on this squad other than "we like having him around"

Obviously @russohockey.bsky.social already has had the big well-reported story on the likely USA roster from earlier this month. But the feeling from talking to some Stars people is that Jason Robertson is still on the outside of the USA Olympic roster.

i'd say it's pretty interesting that people are going all in on this particular named drug cheat, but then again, david ortiz is also currently in the HOF.
The Andy Pettitte HoF discourse reminds me of the change in convo about the SW prequels: i thought both were fine, not great, in the moment and am a bit surprised at a generational shift in perception of them, which seems based somewhat in nostalgia and distance from the moment.
