And African. And Asian. I read these “Best of” compilations, and the stories are usually North American and British, and that’s it. I hunger for some Inuit horror. Some Croatian horror. Some Iranian horror. Some Oaxacan horror.

Excited to share the news that my #solarpunk eco-fiction story 'Coriander' on cultural heritage (and food, of course) is in the Best of British Science Fiction 2025. Feeling lucky to be there with some of my heroes in SFF! With thanks to editor @wishusdonna.bsky.social and NewCon Press ✨

Our society can be summarized like this:

When you google the word "equity", almost every entry is about the investment and you have to dig deeper until you find something that relates the word "equity" to its meaning: fairness or addressing inequalities.

A bit of trivia about my story "The Hungry Mouth at the Edge of Space and the Goddess Knitting at Home". I never mention when the story is set, but the spaceship's timestamp says 18656265410, which is actually a Unix timestamp. That means it's set in the year 2561.

Another collection of short stories, though the titular story accounts for over half of the book. Sci-fi horror themed, exploring potential horrors of space exploration and our own greed, hubris and anger. Well worth a read.
