And if you can afford to get a passport, do that. Start now because it can take months. If you can afford it, there are places that can expedite it for you, but it still takes longer than you might expect, especially because they keep reducing the departments that deal with things..
If you use your married name on official ID, i.e. Driver's License or passport, start now to obtain official documents of your marriage, divorce, name change for any reason from your state. You may need to take them with you in order to vote

Ask any of the 21M+ married women if her birth name does not match her current name.

No match. No vote. This is voter supression.
