I supported Vic covid response but my god, the toll it took on the families I worked with, as me as their child’s teacher. I’m still processing it tbh. And still I think well imagine if I was working at a meatworks or in private aged care. A hospital.

Reason to be cheerful: close to end of my deep clean. Faced the cupboard under sink which hosted briefly a mouse during hellish period of extensive covid lockdown. Handyman did shoddy repair (I rent). Memories of exhaustion teaching and supporting families of students with asd. Playgrounds closed

If the NSW government has any interest in maintaining faith with its own public, it will ask the DPP to investigate police actions on Monday night without NSW Police involvement, with a view to prosecuting the cops who committed assaults. Or it can carry on blaming the victims; Minns' choice.

Thinking a lot about repercussions of not being heard in my workplace and personal repurcussions. Let alone child safety.
To get my laptop updated I have to back into my workplace (am on workcover) and I just worked out how to do it safely (I used to vomit in morning then have panic attacks in Uber to work). I just get dressed up as some kind of full bodied animal, pretend it’s book celeb day. Doin it for the kids
