Democrats can and must make it clear there will be trials and anyone even somewhat associated with ICE will face them. Maybe give a quit-your-job deadline on appeasement and give people 72 hours. I don't know. But currently the plan is to let them murder us in the street and get away with it.

No. Abolish the entire system and prosecute them all.
When the next president takes office, every single person hired by ICE and Border Patrol after January 20, 2025 should be fired, and the rest should be evaluated to ensure that they have upheld nothing but the highest standards of professionalism as part of a top-to-bottom reorganization
I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.
