#EpsteinBallroom should definitely not be a hashtag we use freely

Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!

It would really be terrible if the name "Epstein Ballroom" were to stick.

Why the fuck does ICE need "guided missile warheads" and "explosive components"?
ICE has sharply increased its spending on weapons in 2025, coming out to more than 700 percent compared to 2024 levels.

Most of the spending was on guns and armor, but there have also been significant purchases of chemical weapons and “guided missile warheads and explosive components.”

The $71.5 million spent so far has paid for guns and armor, chemical munitions, “guided missile warheads," and "explosive components.”

Many people are outraged that Trump is demolishing part of the White House. But of course Trump can't do it without help. It's ACECO LLC of Silver Spring MD ("full-service demolition") that is tearing down the People's House. You can call them and let them know how you feel. 1/

If you know anything about #construction, begining an addition to the White House 10 months into a new administration is highly suspicious. The #design and permitting phase for the most basic non-residential project is typically several months. Designing and bidding a project usually takes longer.
Trump is rushing to build his ballroom. A review process could take years.
The National Capital Planning Commission has taken years to approve much smaller White House projects than a ballroom planned by President Trump.

So now they will send guard units from DC and Puerto Rico (assuming they know it has one)?
BOOM 🔥:

Judge Immergut issues a second Temporary Restraining Order prohibiting the relocation, federalization, or deployment of ANY NATIONAL GUARD FROM ANY STATE into the state of Oregon.

Yesterday 29 @housedemocrats.bsky.social chose to side with Donald Trump over DC.

We did not ask for this. It will not make us safer. And fueling this fascist president's agenda is dangerous for our entire country. (🧵)

What’s at stake here is free speech.

Across the board, we’ve seen the Trump administration use the power of government to go after anybody who’s criticized them — and in this case, Jimmy Kimmel.

We need to all stand up and speak out.
September 18, 2025 at 1:54 AM
So, Disney caves to it large affiliate owners whose broadcast licenses were threatened by the authoritarian FCC chair on a right wing podcast. Kimmel screwed up, but there is so much outrageously wrong with "indefinitely" suspending his show. #kimmel #jimmykimmellive #abc #disney

Trump's occupation of DC has "horrific 'mystery agents'...cosplaying as police so they can kidnap non-white people with impunity."

That's not just the perspective of our community members. That's the perspective of MPD Officer Daniel Hodges.
I’m a DC police officer. Here’s what Trump’s takeover is really about.
The federal occupation is terrorizing citizens, wasting taxpayer dollars, and actively making local law enforcement’s jobs harder.

As scary as this moment is, remember that support for political violence went DOWN after the July 2024 assassination attempt against Trump, not up www.pnas.org/doi/abs/10.1...

We need to make the same thing happen this time.

So it sounds like Ghislaine threatened Todd Blanche with blackmail, @maddow.msnbc.com. As in, 'nice administration you've got there; be a shame if they were revealed to be pedophiles'. In that context, DOJ sending her to club fed to shut her up makes sense. #maddow

Well, they probably have the exhibit space given all of the stolen antiquities they have had to return.
President Trump announced that his family Bible would be displayed in the Museum of the Bible, calling it "an honor."
