Women’s Wrestling on TV in 2025
So just how much women’s wrestling are we getting on TV? I started looking at this back in 2021 because for a few weeks things looked really bleak on Smackdown, like so little time for …

With Summerslam coming up in a few days I have updated a couple of my ongoing reports about women's wrestling. First, an update look at women's matches on TV. (tldr: 2025 > 2024, NXT is slowing down, the 3 hr Smackdown was the best ever)

Ultimately I think one good thing to come out of this is for more of the elected Dems to be willing to call some of their colleagues bitches. If you want these folks replaced then you have to rally sentiment for it among the people who are not extremely online. Otherwise they'll keep winning

Get involved with your state and local Democrats.
Chuck Schumer might be a bitch but Linda the Safeway Cashier is not, and she is ORGANIZED.
I have found state and local Dems (MoCo, MD) to be the exact antidote to... lackluster... national Dems.
YMMV. But give it a try

I absolutely don't want Senate Dems to cave, but some key things:
1. If they do, this gets kicked back over to the House, which has to vote on it again since it would differ from their own version...which I think only runs thru 11/21?
2. That presumably means having to swear in Grjalva.

Sean Dunn, aka DC Sandwich Guy, speaks outside court after his not guilty verdict:
“I am so happy that justice prevails in spite of everything….
“That night I believe I was protecting the rights of immigrants…
Every life matters, no matter where you came from, no matter how you got here…”

So many iconic Pelosi moments- ACA, IRA, ARRA, the '06 and '18 midterms... but for me it's the night of 1/6/21.
We were waiting to see how many days until they could return to the Capitol to finish certifying the election.
She told us, "tonight." I still tear up thinking about how that felt.

A big part of the reason why the Democratic Congressional delegation is so old is that so many Democratic state legislators got their careers nipped in the bud in 2010 and 2014. Focusing on winning as many state legislative seats as possible is the real way to fix the gerontocracy problem, too.

basically every 2024 truism is dead. Trump did not build a lasting multiracial coalition or turn young men into committed Republicans. You don’t need to cave on trans rights to win. The pundits have nothing left to tell you.

Curtis Sliwa is one of those people who you can list like 1000 bad things but then at the end you say 'at least he's (somehwhat) honest'.
Zohran Mamdani says on NY1 he didn't get a congratulatory call from either Andrew Cuomo or Eric Adams last night.
He says he got a congratulatory call from Curtis Sliwa, though.

Look, this guy is a POS but 'smacking fannies and killing grannies' might have been the line of the whole campaign.
Curtis Sliwa claims to have been offered $10 million, across seven bribes, to drop out of the mayoral race. Last month, he said he’d leave the ballot if “a Mack truck hits me, and I get turned into a speed bump, and they can’t recover me in the I.C.U.”
Inside Curtis Sliwa’s Never-Ending Campaign
The Republican candidate for New York City mayor has been aggressively ramping up his campaign, even if it’s to the benefit of Zohran Mamdani.

My takeaway from election night is this: The worst thing to believe is that the party who loses a POTUS election is dead. I've lived long enough to see the Democrats called dead after 2004, 2016, and 2024 and the GOP called dead after 2008.
The parties are never in as much disarray as you think
