Looks like this data was quietly updated in the fall for the latest numbers through 2024 - Annual Greenhouse Gas Index (AGGI) produced by NOAA...

It is now up to a 54% increase in the influence of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere since 1990 (AGGI = 1.54; heat trapping)

It is a crazy, messed up world where the NCAA needs to run PSAs encouraging sports bettors not to harass athletes because of their on-field performance. 👀

Amazing what a south-facing window and short days can do for houseplants. 🌱 Color indoors in the winter is always appreciated.

From high-impact weather events to stratus clouds dancing over the open ocean, this year was filled with impressive satellite imagery.

We look back on the most compelling satellite views of 2025.

From wildfire warnings to flood forecasts, NCAR's research impacts everyone in America.

President Trump's attempt to dismantle it for political vengeance is beyond reckless.

We will fight against this dangerous scheme every step of the way.

@kfishbain.bsky.social I have a thought. Build that Indiana Bears stadium right next to that third Chicago area airport in northwest Indiana.

And BTW, why do they think if Illinois won’t spend big $ to help that Indiana will? Their budget is every bit as tight as Illinois.
