Raucously indignant.

He/him, intersectional humanist and feminist, simple country doctor, owned by many dogs and cats, New Yorker, cars - especially Porsche, good food, Italian wine, books books and more books. I once ran for office; you should too.

A great man, much greater than I, said, "The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice." I think the great Reverend Doctor was selling himself short. The universe doesn't bend of it own, but rather is actively bent by the strength of great people and the movements they support.

Chair Comer denied our request for an official trip to El Salvador to advocate for due process and the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Pretty shameful.

Good thing I don’t need Comer’s permission to get on a plane.

“The building is in disarray under Hegseth’s leadership,” John Ullyot wrote. “The dysfunction is now a major distraction for the president — who deserves better from his senior leadership.”

I'd suggest the president has exactly the senior leadership he deserves.

Former Pentagon official warns department's dysfunction could topple Hegseth
“The last month has been a full-blown meltdown at the Pentagon,” John Ullyot, the former top Defense Department spokesperson, wrote in a POLITICO Magazine opinion piece.

What Judge Xinis is banking on is that the government does not want to spend two weeks in discovery. Two big things can happen:

(1) They just make the call and get him back

(2) They spend two weeks creating a public record of their own fuck ups and then get sanctioned

I cannot convey enough how grateful I am to the millions of you all supporting us with your time, resources, and energy.

Your support has allowed us to rally people together at record scale to organize their communities.

All with an average donation of $21.

THANK YOU & Pa’lante 🙏🏽♥️
News: AOC had her strongest ever quarter, raising over $9.5m from 266k individual donors for an average of just $21.

AOC doesn’t take a dollar from lobbyists or corporate PACS. Our top donor professions are teachers and nurses. 64% were first time contributors.

Eugenicists are so stupid.
The U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services has repeatedly claimed: “If you’re healthy, it’s almost impossible to die from an infectious disease in modern times.”

That is dangerously false.

Yo! Shoutout to AOC & Bernie for leading by example — showing up, speaking truth & organizing w/the people, not just talking at them from D.C.

We need that same energy from all Dems. Whether it’s 35,000 or 35 people — show up. Hit the streets, hit the town halls, show you’re ready to fight for us.

Oligarchs didn’t seize power. They absorbed it.

You still vote, but elections don’t decide anything. You still have laws, but they don’t constrain those who rule. The government still exists, but it doesn’t govern.

Because the coup already happened.
