What if "luck" only exists when meaning is attached to it?

The probability of something occurring ranges from impossible to inevitable. If one outcome is more desirable than others, then its "good luck" for it to happen, and "bad luck" for it not to.

Without preference, is it just "chance"?

So far the Songbirds supplement is tentatively These Little Li(v)es. Four Gifts/Curses, two Otherworldly Pacts, five Spirits, some Freelancers, maybe a Body Mod or two, and a region I’m still finding the shape of.
Region What Lies It started as a joke that travellers would tell each other. “What’s ahead of us,” asked the new pilgrims with no maps to guide them. “What Lies ahead,” their fellows would respond, “What Lies behind!” But names have a way of getting away from the ones who create them. Taking on their own shape. Smothering the things that were until one is left with What Lies.

Very proud to say that I completed the latest #Destiny2 campaign on legedary!!! (that's "hard" difficulty) It's my first time completing any D2 campaign on legendary 😊 and with my beloved triple shotguns too! (ok except for two bosses who had big shields :< but who is counting lol)

The games that "hate their players" are in fact the ones that employ "dark patterns," abusing the players' psychology to boost engagement and conversion rates. Genshin Impact hates its players. Getting Over It is just laughing at a shared joke.

Hi bluesky. It's prototype Sunday. Today I'm working on a mancala card game about the origin story of an AI god.
You control the ai and her creator. Creator uses the mancala action board, the ai uses a deck of emotions. The player is reliving her memories. Prototype is the prologue.
Setup and ready to play HUMAN End state of the 3rd play or so. Each chapter ends with you closing the program. There are 6 actions on the mancala board, but only 3 spaces, so 2 always share. Choices! Prototype Memory card. If you resolve this card, the ai reboots. (As does the mancala board... Uh creator takes a breath and reassesses the situation?) This gives you 1 turn to slow the memories down. But a lot less action tokens to work with.
