Your annual reminder to not let folks know you're traveling for the holidays.
Better go ahead and set the flamethrower up and all those glass ornaments on the floor.

had some ideas i wanted to sketch out for the mimic site update at some point. really wanna hit some kind of IDE / pixelated / cyberpunk / brutalist thing with the site at some point. minimally altered pictures really messes with those vibes. (still gotta sell an accurate product) idk

This really does get the brain design juices flowing. Imagine a moving inventory system. When objects hit each other, maybe they become damaged, maybe they get bonuses? Maybe far left has higher speed, maybe they make noise.

I've been thinking about how to organize a silent/solo game meetup for a while. At a library? Somewhere else? I love the idea of playing solo ttrpg games together.

The idea is not unlike silentbook.club but the logistics, as with all things, can be complicated.

Any experiences to share?
Solo club?? I'd love more details! I was just thinking about organizing a "silent trrpg night" where everyone is playing solo ttrpgs and I'm milling around answering questions players may have.

Kind of a play on silent bookclubs.

CD and MD order coming up. Analog gaming soundtracks. Interesting objects of time. The minidisc, the beautiful ancient future spell book of music and sounds. If you're quick, a device can be found to play them. But a day will come when their secrets will be heard one final time. An analog secret.

nearly 48,000 words in Miru 3.
The next games I make are gonna have as few words as possible.

This is too wild not to comment on. The Trump admin has announced the Hunger Games in celebration of the America's 250th. What in the world. May the odds be ever in your favor I guess.

What a journey. The final chapter of MIRU goes to print tomorrow. The cover reflects the player's knowledge of the enemy they face. When you stare at the cover for MIRU 3, the eyes follow you. Should be out next month if the Hex Kits cross the border ok!🤞🚢

May Alora be with you.

Had an idea in a dream last night. What if, as an advanced variant, there was an area majority element in Elseware Express, an 18xx-like game. End of each round, you check which company has the most presence in each region. Winning company's president gets 1 stock manipulation action. Monopoly rules

I'm happy to share with you the cover image for #StateVector :) there will be adjustments before release of course, but I'm already quite pleased with how it looks!

I wanna spread the word about the Elseware Express and Card & Coin Kickstarter in late Feb. Anybody here have experience with instagram ads? or general advice on getting the word out? I got really lucky with the first MIRU KS and I should probably learn how to advertise a little better.

How do these make you feel?
What is this game about?
Right direction? Or am I going down a silly path?

In the 2040s, post y2k2, unrest occurs due to religious terrorists. Their claim of "only 1 heaven" was tested when an AI came along and offered eternity to those who chose it. Thousands of bodies stored in pods in giant buildings. After zealots bombed these buildings, Alora created security guards.

Some gods are formed in the sands of the desert. Taking directions you didn't want them to go. This one just wants to stare at the player. Sorry I didn't have much choice there. Save your luck up for this one. Tread ground carefully, this guy makes the land unstable.

How a god is formed. Every god begins as a blob of shapes. Then is draw by someone who doesn't understand perspective or shadows well at all. Reference to previous drawings for some consistency are needed. Then a lot of hope, time, strangling the pen and 40 redraws later and we end up here:
