Does anyone else see stuff behind lock and key and just decide to not buy it? I tried to buy batteries at the grocery store once and the unlocking process took, not exaggerating at all here, 30 extra goddamn minutes of finding the keys, finding out the lock was busted, then trying something else.

Not dissimilar to the irony of needing to be intolerant to intolerance, I suspect that the only way to thoroughly repair America's institutional collapse due to authoritarianism in an immediate sense that could last a long time would require some authoritarianism. Too much poison in the system now.

I really do think the fascism is melting brains in ways that don't seem to make sense. Feelings of helplessness and being surrounded by constant Nazism is leading some folks to lash out in insane ways.
