On here for as long as it helps us organise a centre left response to the polycrisis.

If we have something in common, feel free to send me a DM.

Palantir was a warning sign.

Keir Starmer choosing to hand our data and security to US tech companies is an outrageous failure of judgment.

All in the name of "investment." What about national security?

It's the United States threatening Greenland, not only Trump. The American people elected Trump, their rubber-stamp Congress is meant to control him. But they don't so they are part of the problem.
Americans are threatening Europe. Europeans who support the U.S. are traitors.

Here’s why 👇🏻

Will the UK even be in the room?

This underlines the importance of reversing the disastrous decision taken 10 years ago and opening negotiations to rejoin the EU

Looks like the EU-US trade deal is now dead, with all three major groups in the EU Parliament calling at least for suspension. The downward spiral has already begun.

This story is not about voters “no longer caring about climate change.”

It is about the right wing using state power, even before the 2024 election, to threaten & punish banks for making green investments — and about banks being happy to cave in the name of profit.

My point is..,,there’s no point clinging onto hope that the alliance can be saved, US still be relied upon in extremis. It can’t. So, what’s holding us back from retaliating?
I’ve been stalwart backer of transatlantic alliance all my life. I understand why Europeans have so far trod softly/tried to keep Trump onside. But, there comes a time when you have to face reality. The US is no longer our ally. Its defense guarantee is worthless. Time to kick ass back🧵

Any promises by Trump are worthless. No trade deals are guaranteed. No trust is left in the alliance. Hoping it might get better is not a strategy. Time to push back. If Ukraine can do it, so can we. F Off American Warship.
