Attempting to do the most base level academic history using primary sources on well documented subjects in a time period as recent as the 1980s will quickly dissuade you of the idea that everything is online.

Sadly for fans, the engine did not get upgraded to the V12 the concept had, but the standard Jaguar/TWR 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine was thoroughly upgraded for both the C and S versions.
The XJ220 S was improved by 138 hp over the XJ220, giving a maximum output of a whopping 680 hp.
