So we often put on the Friends of Felines cat rescue stream for calm background noise, and one of our favorite kitties passed yesterday unexpectedly. Magic had just his two front legs due to a birth defect in his hind legs, causing them to be amputated early. He got around so well, though!

There is a lot going on in my life (bad) and I feel like I keep finding new lows depression can go to. There is a tiny voice in my head screaming to make comics but unfortunately we are both trapped by my body and the way it feels like it’s constantly filled with broken glass.

With the current way my life and the entire world are going, I won’t be able to replace my…7? 8? Generations old phone until I’m also ancient. That said, I wish app developers would stop making every single app a bloated mess. I don’t have space for this!! And maybe I never will!!!

You know what, I’m here for it. Thomas was licensed by one of the clients at the worst job I’ve ever had and to this day I delight in every ridiculous Thomas meme the internet has to offer. I see this train in my nightmares. This game can only end well.

what ablebodied ppl don’t rly get is that visible disability doesn’t mean a world that has failed to “cure” it, but a world where disabled people are given the equity and resources to BE AND BE TREATED LIKE PEOPLE
I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."
That's not the case, for any number of possible reasons.
