I had a dream that would actually be a good basis for a film or series, but it was not a good dream. It was set in the 1990s in a group house of college students, but a different college from the one I attended. (Still in upstate New York, though.)

The "tranny bars" my chaser friend dragged me to 20 years ago were very welcoming to men (because most of the trans women were SWs and were there to find clients). The scene pushed me even deeper into the closet.

Now convinced one mustn't trust any history of the Russian Revolution & Civil War written by a historian who reads only Russian and one or more western languages. If it doesn't engage with primary sources in Polish, Ukrainian, and Yiddish, the history is dangerously incomplete.
