I first posted this at 10pm on Friday, but to provide a more serious explanation of what I’m doing here:

I've officially gone into business for myself. After being fired for my choice of pro bono cases 3 months ago, I’ve been doing a few stray cases, but it's time to make things formal.

Dozens of vulture carcasses—at least some and probably all infected with HPAI—were reportedly left strewn about the grounds of an elementary school for days while bureaucrats wrangled over who would clean up the site, illustrating what appears to be a huge crisis of state and local capacity in Ohio.

I need someone much more knowledgeable than myself to answer this: Remember all the drones on the east coast last year? I am far from a conspiracy theorist, but are we sure those weren’t similar incursions?
Two F-35s took off this morning to identify an unknown object in the Dutch area of responsibility. It was a drone. It has left the airspace again and posed no direct threat. Air traffic experienced no disruption. -Dutch MoD

8. Gallego, when confronted with his texts, did not deny them. In fact, he leaned into them, saying that they were “a reflection of what I’ve been saying the whole time.” He claimed that the texts actually reflected inclusivity:

4. Now, newly leaked texts—published by a conservative source but confirmed as accurate from Gallego himself—suggest Gallego’s shift may not be a mere political calculation but a reflection of deeper, toxic beliefs that have become far too common in American politics.

You can see the texts here:

Are you fucking kidding me?! This is Rob Sand’s response to cancer in Iowa.

No mention of pesticides or pesticide runoff from Big Ag. Conveniently, Sand’s wife is CEO of the BigAg company, the Lauridsen Group.

This is shameful.

Just dug out the driveway and the car on my own, so now I might have to claim “snowfighters” for all of us out here clearing over a foot of snow with only a shovel.
Today I saw a post where snowplow drivers were referred to as “snowfighters” and I’ve now added that to the list of things that make me irrationally angry.
