The Strain is such a frustrating show because the scientific aspect is interesting, but then the scientists discover a way to combat the epidemic and then do stupid shit like bring an emotionally unstable 10-year-old to the lab and leave him unattended and he starts smashing shit.

This thread pretty much sums it up.
Those reading this as approval of Kirk’s killing are reading words that aren’t there. I don’t want to live in a world of normalized violence. Charlie Kirk spent his life ensuring we all have to live in such a world. We do everything a disservice to elide the reality of that.

We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.
