Journalist and author Adam Chandler explains what so much of the conversation about them gets wrong.

Those were the days.
In the issue of THE FLASH that was on newsstands when I was born, the villain is a guy who uses insider information to make a fortune and then doesn't want to pay his fair share of taxes.

But the Flash investigates him and he winds up in jail, so you know it's just a juvenile fantasy.

People who are generally upset with how their lives are going, and also feel there are too many people around who look different, can never actually be appeased.

Not by Brexit, not by eliminating FoM, not by new taxes or fees, not by ending ILR, not by denaturalizing not by anything.

Truth.
These World Cup ticket prices may look high, but don't forget the US ones include a month-long stay in an ICE facility.

Positive thinking:
People think money has ruined football but the sight of a rapist dictator standing next to a corrupt football official in front of a big gold trophy at a competition bankrolled by Saudi Arabia reminds me the game still belongs to us.
