As far as things goes, even if LASIK 2.0, perfect-curing-of-vision existed, it still wouldn't cure all visual disabilities.
LASIK does one thing. And does it ... Anyways.
No amount of progress on that would cure my blindness, because the issue is the optic nerve itself lol.

If you equate expertise in survival with current resilience, you will break people. I've survived so much, built up a pretty impressive attitude & I'm good at faking function, but it's hollowed me out. I'm so fragile.
