Appalled, disgusted, sickened, but not surprised.
AER is a sham regulator. It is an advocate for energy companies & a rubber stamp for approvals.

The Canadian province of Alberta does NOT have an anti-SLAPP statute. So, it will be expensive to defend freedom of the press. Read up to learn more, and read down to get links to the Statement of Claim and Statement of Defence.

It's still bonkers to think that less than a year ago the Liberals were dead in the water and Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives were headed towards the biggest electoral landslide in Canadian history.

Cut to today and Alberta Conservative MPs are rumoured to be defecting to the Liberal Party.
Dimitri Soudas, former Harper comms guy, told RadCan this morning that he's hearing Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux will cross the floor to the Liberals today.

If this happens, the Liberals are one seat short of a majority. You know what that means.

That's right.

Elizabeth May is Kingmaker.

Congrats to them for getting rid of them all!

As job cuts, layoffs and downsizing seize the oil and gas industry, Alberta needs to pivot to secure good jobs for the next generation.

Read our latest op-ed in the Calgary Herald ⬇️
For oil and gas insight, look at what companies are doing – not what politicians are saying
This is not the time for us to stake our economic future on an industry which appears to be cutting jobs and battening down the hatches.

We didn't need to use the Notwithstanding clause either and a $5.6 million a sole-source contract has been awarded to a private contractor.
