Ok, you can stop texting me, I saw the Ring ad. Troubling things about it 🧵:

-The long awaited (much warned about) intro of “AI” recognition. It starts w/ searching for a “brown dog” but means the tech is there for lisence plate reading, face recognition, searching for suspects by description, etc

I worked in 3 Fortune 50 companies and the idea of every company trying to vibe code its own ERP systems is so funny I want it to become a sitcom. The first episode of “The Office: New Vibes” will be about various lawsuits because no workers or vendors got paid as the AI put all the money in Kalshi

Do you remember when people were saying "I think my phone is listening to me, i'm getting ads for stuff I spoke about" and people said "They arent listening to you, they're just this good at predicting your interests"?

Well, it happens they were doing exactly that.

The shareholder lawsuits around Elon’s money-torching robot boondoggle are going to be lit
Tesla on Wednesday said it will scrap its Model S and X vehicles and invest $2bn into con man Elon Musk’s xAI as the company shifts focus from cars to AI and robotics, after reporting its first fall in annual revenue.

The river of urine flowing from his grave will be stunning. Men will visit his grave with tears in their eyes and say sir, this river of urine across your grave is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Even in death, no one knows grave urine like Donald Trump, he’s the best in the world at it.
It’ll be the most beautiful day when he dies. The most beautiful death of all deaths the likes of which we’ve never seen before

“AI is here to stay, you can’t get away from it” is the new “have fun staying poor”

At least some early crypto enthusiasts did believe there was genuine opportunity, and you were a loser for not taking advantage. All AI boosters have is “I will make you my prisoner and force you to use this trash”
I’m still amazed I see shills making the argument that “AI is here to stay, you can’t get away from it.”

To my ears, these people are claiming they expect to get infinite amounts of money and electricity with no meaningful output, forever.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.
