I swear news coming out of the US is getting scarier every day, and I can't see it becoming any less scary any time soon. Very little surprises me these days.

Genuinely there is no need for random people to traumatize themselves through the Internet to appreciate the horror of what has happened here or in other places. This is not what bearing witness means, and it's a fast lane to burnout and desensitization.
Alternatively, do, if you can handle it. We should not get the privilege of turning a blind eye. Not anymore. Too many have done that to Palestine and still deny it’s as bad as it is there.
If you can’t handle it, there is nothing wrong with that. If you can, bear witness and TAKE ACTION.
