I did a lot of wild stuff this year but finding a workout strat that actually works for me and I can be consistent with and being the Lead Writer of two new studios’ debut titles would absolutely be the top three! Checked off a few more National Parks too with more planned for next year 🫡

Just a thing about this: a common statement in writing is that you can fix crap, but you can't fix a blank page.

A Vampire: The Masquerade player threatened to force me to eat glass because I made Celerity and Potence slightly less powerful in V20. It taught me at a critical point in my career to be strategic about when to try and convince someone, and when to block and move on.

Rereading Absolute Batman (as I got the hardcover for my birthday), and I'm struck by how DENSE it is. It seems like more and more comics are straining against decompression and doing amazing things with 15-panel pages. It makes the splash pages feel really special, too.

Folks, I know you all want to see the end of this "AI" thing. I do too! But accusing people of using Gen AI when you have no real evidence doesn't actually help the situation. In fact, it muddies the water in a way that helps the "AI" producers and hurts the people who actually create things.
