y'ever think about how the plot of this film from 40+ years ago is about a guy trying to get properly accredited for working on space invaders. it'd be crazy if that was still relevant to games today.
(we saw last year's new Tron Remastering, which goes kinda crazy for fans of jeff bridges being a weird little scamp)

to put this in gamer terms: my “rage meter” gets filled to the point where i can activate a “limit break,” where i am immune from “Stress Debuff Status,” but after the limit break meter runs out, there’s an interstitial period where Rage does go toward a LB, but depletes the “Fun Gauge”
I’ve found with all games i have an anxiety vs frustration threshold where there is a “golden corridor” where i am frustrated enough i stop being anxious and lock in, but that corridor is also narrow before i get to “frustrated and not even having fun”
