I'm proud I don't have Andrew Cuomo's record of corruption, scandal and disgrace.

And the name is M-A-M-D-A-N-I.

Just published my new paper at the Texas A&M Law Review. It’s about the revival of the alien land laws, this New Cold War with China, and what does it mean for POC, especially the Chinese.

Today was my last class at SMU Law School. Civil Rights. I enjoyed every moment I spent with my students. They are why I do what I do. SMU was where my American dream started. I’ll always be a Mustang, but I’m also excited about my next academic chapter at UMass Law. Pony Up! 🐎🦄

This is a year of many disappointments from American higher Ed and I sometimes feel truly depressed about the reality. Then something like this happens and I feel re-empowered again. My students are the reasons why I do what I do. Thank you SMU APALSA! I’m glad to be your lantern!

We can’t say that America has reached its darkest time- it went much lower before. But for millennials and Gen Z, you are living in the worst America in your life time. It’s cruel, stupid, vile, ugly, and tacky. Look at her. A dog killer wearing a golden daytona, talks/wears trash at the same time.

The staff at this public elementary school in DC showed far more courage than an Ivy with $15 billion endowment
More details: ICE goons were turned away at HD Cooke. They tried to seize the school nurse in the parking lot without a warrant, but backed off after staff intervened.

The recent Yale law school debacle on the LPE censorship and the ridiculous Paul Weiss farce disrupt the assumption that elitism naturally leads to societal responsibilities. No, elitism without principle is the worst form of cowardice. They are so afraid of helping anybody, including themselves.

For fucks sake - we are experiencing full-blown American political decay to the core.

Still waiting for @yalelawschool-yls.bsky.social ‘s statement, and I have not heard any faculty member from YLS say anything about this. This is completely disappointing and outrageous.

The radio silence from the so called moderate democrats on the detention of the Columbia student is another example of white liberalism: it has no principle, no backbone, no hope. The only thing that unites that front is American imperialism, and they’ll punish anybody for speaking out against it.

Despite all that has come out of Washington in the past several weeks, to date, no new laws have been enacted related to the operations of the university. UMass operates within the bounds set by the laws of our Commonwealth and nation and will continue to do so.

Liberalism is dying both domestically and internationally. People on the left need to find a new base, but there has been no effort on that. Meanwhile, conservatism evolved: it leans towards fascism domestically, and old-school imperialism internationally. This won’t end well.

The authors also misled readers by mischaracterizing the 1898 Wong Kim Ark ruling. The Court did not impose parents’ permanent residence as a condition to have birthright citizenship. Permanent residence as an immigration status was created in the 1950s. New York Times at this point is just a rag.

I’m tired of all the “this is illegal” outcries aiming Trump’s actions. Law rarely fixes any societal injustice. Law is man-made, class-based social structure. The rule of law can co-exist with just about any injustice, e.g. genocide, racism, censorship. You’ve lived through it. Wake up.

So, it appears that a former student of mine is an alleged 1/6 participant and now in high place with the Trump administration. He was in my LWR and 60 percent of my lecture was based on a hypo in which a law student was arrested for 1/6 involvement. He was a good student. Idk how to feel anymore. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m working on a piece about TikTok. My current position is that unstructured data is the new resource property of the AI era and the US’s opposition about TikTok is about a non-white, non-western power is now taking over the control of means of production. shorturl.at/7fxLT tell me what you think!
