May as well keep the name. Classical music, high school education, sport, cats, community, stuff, politics of the mostly local kind.

State of Origin - no matter the code - is just exhibition nonsense. Could not care less.

Because almost no-one posts during Insiders these days, it took a while to find out who it was who spun bullshit about the CFMEU and Labor. Of course it was Jennifer Hewitt.
God that show is sad.

This bullshit from Karvelas came across my algorithm tonight. She is such an ignorant stooge.

People who know Sydney well should not be surprised this happened. The place does not cope well with people who care about political issues that may disrupt commercial enterprises and traffic.
“As the crowd is forced to move in on itself, more protesters continue to emerge from the perimeter, battered, bruised or with the dazed indignation of someone pepper-sprayed.”

When Minns won the state election, I was genuinely meh about the result. I wasn’t sure that he was going to be any better than the Libs.
Turns out he and his government may be even worse.

The incompetence - or maybe not - of the ABC continues to erode our nation. One Nation - a crypto fascist grifter party is given puff piece treatment by Richard Willingham. I don’t need to do deep dive into just how lazy and pathetic this piece really is.

I can’t imagine that Chris Minns reads many books at all.
Ignorant troglodyte, like his pal in Adelaide.

Just looked at the Grammy winners for “Best Classical”. Bit of a joke when it’s just American recordings. No way was Yo Yo Ma’s Shostakovich the “best solo instrumental” performance of the year.
A reminder that the Grammys and the Oscars are a bit of a joke and the European awards are better.

I thought for a minute this was a 6 News post. They share a love of posting hyperbolically about political moves that are only interesting to the online political tragic.

It’d be a lot easier to take these ex-major party high profile candidates (Latham, now Bernardi) seriously if they didn’t keep gravitating to cushy but essentially impotent berths in state LegCos.

This is one of the dumbest takes of the year so far, and may hold the title for the rest of it.
No, the Government were never "on their knees" after Bondi - only those in the media believed that.
Turning up to the Australian Open is proof that he is PM.
Karvelas has lost the plot.

The instability of the US is having all sorts of unexpected effects. Australia should be looking into something like this as well
US companies Visa, Mastercard and Paypal have a stranglehold on European finance and consumers, making us dangerously vulnerable to the economic threats of the Trumpist regime.

This solution is very welcome!

He should face investigation under Australia’s foreign interference laws.

Iconic
Viral
Unbelievable
All part of the same hyperbolic word classes
I won’t eat food that is “viral”.
I know this is petty, but if someone describes their recipe video as “viral” I stop watching *immediately*.

I loathe the hype about hype.

This might be unreasonable. Fine. It’s of the more harmless irrationalities.

I don’t know if this is just a trend I am following, but I have shut off my Spotify and most of the streamers. I am looking at our CD collection, the DVDs, Blurays and thinking they are enough.
Streaming services just bore me now.
