It's not that memory or storage gets expensive, it's that it's being taken off the market to go directly to a few companies. You can't even buy things, regardless of how expensive things are.
I wished more media was writing not just about how the "AI" buildout increases prices but actively bars people from building their own independent infrastructures.
"AI" is not just poisoning the infosphere but taking away your ability to build alternatives.

If you see someone wearing Ray-Bans, that person is a tremendous asshole and you should loudly tell them to stop recording you. Even if they're not recording, or even wearing the glasses that can record, make it uncomfortable for them. Make Ray-Bans sales crash. Punish them.
Meta is putting a "Name Tag" feature in Ray-Bans - facial recognition through the glasses' camera. You look at someone, AI tells you who they are.
In an internal document, the company wrote that the timing is good because civil society groups are busy with politics and won't cause problems.

I really wanna get the Console Archives version of Ninja Gaiden II - but it'd been decades since I played it last and it was the one game of the trilogy I could always finish without dying once. I'm not sure I'm ready to face my mortality.

This is his Amazon search history for her Valentine’s card.

There are some Star Trek fans weirdly obsessed with “decorum” and they really fixate on how Holly Hunter sits in the captain’s chair on STARFLEET ACADEMY. One guy left a comment on the official FB whining about it and so Captain Janeway herself responded to drop the hammer

Hello! I see you've decided to conflate a human being being an evil fascist apologist committing crimes and perpetuating fraud with (checks notes) being a woman. Perhaps you would like to not do this.
Bondi is clearly going through menopause. “…mood changes and "brain fog," often begin during perimenopause (mid-40s to early 50s) - along with irrational moods and temper tantrums

The exploit has nothing to do with the AI features, this is a a markdown exploit lol. I mean still, 'why are you fucking up notepad for no reason' but lets not make shit up
The AI features added to Notepad created a critical exploit vulnerable to loading a compromised txt file.

The fix is part of Patch Tuesday, so update your systems.

AI is not a feature I ever desired in Notepad. I should look into some alternatives...
AI-upgraded Notepad now exposes Windows users to critical exploit
A critical remote code execution vulnerability found in the AI-upgraded Windows 11 Notepad has fueled renewed criticism of Microsoft's forced AI feature creep.

Invoking wealthy class solidarity to excuse sex crimes against children is sorta the Epstein Class in a nutshell
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."
