If you see someone wearing Ray-Bans, that person is a tremendous asshole and you should loudly tell them to stop recording you. Even if they're not recording, or even wearing the glasses that can record, make it uncomfortable for them. Make Ray-Bans sales crash. Punish them.
Meta is putting a "Name Tag" feature in Ray-Bans - facial recognition through the glasses' camera. You look at someone, AI tells you who they are.

It is literally a crime against humanity that I am not allowed to rewrite Star Wars.
Star Wars is characterized by a millennia-long stagnant (only innovation is in weapons) galactic political economy fraught with oppression, lawlessness (think of the crime syndicates), and inequality. A major theme is hope in spite of this time-cyclical world.

Measles is a bellwether. Because it’s the most contagious vaccine-preventable disease, when vaccination rates drop, it’s the first to start spreading.

Now we’ve got mumps rolling up.

Expect more.

This is just the beginning of RFK Jr.’s successful infectious disease reintroduction plan.

If there is anything that can get us out of the global cycle of war and violence, it is art. It is the common exchange of our humanity, and can, I'm sure, bring us together. 🌎

And I'm starting to suspect the oligarchy understands this, and that is why they wish so much to destroy art and artists.

my Boomer parents were unambiguously right, here: they raised me to believe that culture and art were every bit my birthright, regardless of how much money we had. anyone who wants to tear down public access to the humanities is stealing our most precious heritage, and that theft demands *redress.*
This elitist view that only rich/Ivy/private school kids should study/have access the liberal arts is so deeply ingrained in so many highly educated Democrats’ views (including tons who majored in the lib arts themselves) that they don’t even realize they hold it, let alone how ugly & elitist it is
(3) But the Democrat view is also bad: while it's fine for people at Princeton and Harvard to study Latin and Sanskrit, public higher education is about job training and $ ROI. There is no room for the idea that curiosity-driven inquiry is a good that should be supported by the public.

We CANNOT let this tumor win.

If a whole bunch of us gave $10 or $20 each, they can cover this.

Please send them whatever you can, and reskeet for your moots to do the same!
please contribute if you can 🙏🏽

i have to pay $1300 to my oncologist before my next appointment on friday. i owe $6322.

(this is the new oncologist- my previous oncologist got a warning for helping me beyond the scope of medical practice (he helped me to get funding & wrote off some of my bills))
as you know, i'm behind on so much & can only pay bills depending on how much i receive in the form of mutual aid

if you click on my ko-fi goal, there's a list of immediate needs that i need to cover & there's also a list of the medical debt that needs to be cleared ASAP.

Gavin Newsom really hates faggots, and like it when we die.

That is the only way I can read this.

i think nominating Gavin Newsom will lose the White House again for Democrats. The party's left flank will stay home again because he's an empty corporate shell. The age of Democrats punching left to appeal to the center is over and it's now a matter of if the party as a whole realizes that or not.

There's a lot of anecdotal evidence and some statistical evidence for the idea that a trans unemployment crisis has blossomed over the last two years in a way completely delinked from unemployment rates in general. Hard news seems uninterested in investigating this, tho they obsess on trans swimmers

BTW IMO, an underrated element of transgender venom against Gavin Newsom is his cruelty to the homeless. I think general online Dem populations may see homelessness as an abstract issue whereas trans people are very likely to see it as a potential future or current reality for ourselves/our friends

The intersection of people (women, trans people, people of color, people with disabilities) who can make good wages through SW is not a demographic that is generally allowed to enjoy financial security and this seems to truly infuriate a certain class of the affluent and powerful.

I’d love to see journalism exploring the mass deletion of SWs off X in conjunction with the rise of grok’s porn bots. There’s a certain tech bro fantasy of AI as a tool of economic deprivation against SWs. The deep resentment at the financial independence of online SW seems to have come to a head.

Both true:

1) Anti-trans attacks, especially among elites, predate and happened separately from Epstein's abuse cult (e.g. the 2015 shift among far-right and christofash orgs)

2) What's revealed in the recent emails is emblematic of the type of gentry conspiracy driving a lot of trans genocide.

TNN journalist and editor @davidforbes.bsky.social has repeatedly observed that "trans genocide is a gentry conspiracy."

Here's one massive example.
You’re not crazy. The anti-trans movement is not organic; it was funded by pedophilic billionaires like Jeffrey Epstein who backed a network of conservatives to accuse the same people they were sexually abusing of being the real danger. @madycast.com exposes the truth in our in-depth report.

I mean, it's pretty obvious, right?
You have a Time Machine. Your mission is to save America. You can only do this once, and it has to be done after the date of your birth (to make sure you don’t get butterfly effect’d, etc). In this HYPOTHETICAL THOUGHT EXPERIMENT ABOUT SOMETHING INPOSSIBLE who do you kill, and when?
If I a Time Machine existed (which it doesn’t making this post unambiguously speculative and hypothetical) the highest profile individuals to knock off to preserve American democracy probably Murdoch, Gingrich, Koch’s, and Zuckerberg.
