Again it is literally already there. Modern cars have GPS with maps that include posted speed limit awareness. They also commonly have electronic cruise control and optional automatic distance-keeping. Adding on this feature would be a firmware update at most, changing nothing else.
Exactly. Which is why putting that tech in every vehicle is a terrible idea.
