Today is a hard day for me: I work in higher ed and I am trans and I have trans loved ones who are not-quite-19.
I don't have the energy to go over how youth exclusion from gender-affirming care potentially indirectly affects people who aren't under the explicitly named cohort atm, but... it will.

Having to deal with AI (especially, but not limited to, when a person is actually better suited for the task).
Taking away options that make my life easier.

What annoys me is the people that both catastrophize about the consequences of the election, but then place all of their faith in electoralism to avert those consequences. If it's really "2nd civil war" levels of bad, I don't think voting in a national election is sufficient to solve the problem.
