Can someone tell HBO that watching an episode of John Oliver does not equate to being interested in Bill Maher afterward?

The entire pundit class has convinced people for so long that their “analysis” was somehow necessary and valuable when in reality it was just a con game to manufacture consent for bias-confirming “strategies” that only benefited the capitalist class and guaranteed pundits career security.

I mean, destruction of history sure. But can we just talk about how objectively ugly Trump's new White House plan is?

What people who've never been pregnant don't realize is it's basically the ONLY medication you can take.

There's no ibuprofen, no DayQuil, no Sudafed when you're sick.

This is going after the last shred of comfort allowed during one of the most over-scrutinized, uncomfortable times in your life.
Gupta: It is safe. That’s what the best-quality research shows. And how irresponsible, using the podium of the WH to put this out there when you’re not even offering an alternative. That is dangerous. An untreated fever is dangerous. Untreated pain in pregnancy is dangerous.

Trump & RFK's attack on Tylenol is part of an emerging campaign within the right to valorize “natural” pregnancy & motherhood—to the point it corrodes women’s health & safety.

Under this campaign, pregnancy & motherhood are seen as women’s natural states.

Seriously y'all, lots of independent pro-democracy media out there to help build up while the msm is tearing themselves down. Here's a few of my faves, list yours:

That's why they need to be left behind. By all means, keep calling them out, but we should dedicate more of our energy to building up their replacements. The faster, the better.

A friend of mine was on Charlie Kirk's "watch list" of Black professors. She received so many death and rape threats that her university offered her a security detail for the walk to class.

This is Kirk's legacy.

You would never know it from reading all of these legacy newspaper op-eds about him.

"...It's not just that Andrew Cuomo is a billionaire-backed moderate. It's that decency and integrity should matter in gov. and having someone who's a sexual harasser... who never once took responsibility for the decisions he made and harm he caused seemed to me to be unacceptable." - Brad Lander
We loved recording this episode with Brad Lander! We talked everything from the media attacks on Zohran Mamdani, how ranked choice voting created an opportunity for the progressives and left to defeat Andrew Cuomo, and how shocked he was to get arrested by ICE agents. youtu.be/cSIJBednlpU?...

#SCOTUS announces that tomorrow is the *last* day on which it will hand down decisions in cases argued this term.

That means birthright citizenship, non-delegation, age verification for porn websites, and three other major rulings will all come down in quick succession starting tomorrow at 10 ET.

Life of the Mother
When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, doctors warned that women would die, but lawmakers who passed state abortion bans didn’t listen. The worst consequences are now becoming clear.

Cancers can be detected in bloodstream three years prior to diagnosis
Detection of cancer before a clinical diagnosis could give patients and caregivers more time for intervention and may lead to better outcomes because tumors are more likely to be curable
