If people are finding out as a late as now how Trumpism is wannabe fascism, they should be accepted in a big pro-democracy, pro-pluralism, pro-equality tent. Their belated dissent is welcome. Democracy is in danger and this is not the time for the usual holier-than-thou approach!

Counter argument: the US debt surged out of control when taxes on multimillionaires were cut in half. To undo this damage to our economy, restore tax rates on millionaires to where they were when the US government still paid its bills, rather than putting the burden on working folks.
A multimillionaire thinks that paying down the national debt is so important that all the poors should get into the workforce earlier, work in it harder, and stay in it later to help pay it off.

It's the only possible way to do it!
Dr Oz: "If we could get the average American to start working a year earlier, right out of high school, or a year later -- not retire -- or work better during their lifetime because they're healthy, it would generate about $3 trillion to the US economy. That would more than remove the debt."

The US annexed Hawaii in 1998. It took possession of Puerto Rico in 1898. Puerto Rico is as American as Hawaii. If it is un-American for a Puerto Rican to speak Spanish, isn’t it un-American for a Hawaiian to speak Hawaiian? Aren’t luaus and hula dancing un-American?

it’s basically the “we’re winning so we must be the fittest” caucus, which has turned out to be a shortsighted thing every time in the past forever but I’m sure they got it now
What I’m seeing here is that Epstein is a nexus point for the “intellectual” cabal that shores up the race science justifying our current immigration and anti-DEI policies (Huberman), as well the tone policing moderates (Brooks) that hamstrings oppositions. Oh and their billionaire benefactors.

This is what it looks like when the government stops even pretending it has to tell the truth.

A man ends up with a shattered skull and bleeding in his brain while in federal custody.

ICE offers a story that medical professionals say makes no sense.
🚨 ICE Said He “Ran Into a Brick Wall.” Nurses Say That’s Impossible. His Skull Was Shattered in 8 Places.
Eight fractures. Brain bleeds. A shifting story. And a hospital staff terrified of armed agents. This is Minnesota now.

The Epstein emails should really end the debate over whether society should have billionaires. "Do you want there to be a class of people so powerful they can fuck your kids and no one will even try to do anything" seems like an easy sell if everyone in politics wasn't trying to get on their payroll

As someone who grew up watching 50s & 60s television, it is natural for me to see the gangs of masked men roaming the streets and shooting people as the bad guys and the local citizens who band together to stop them as the good guys.

Our “native born” population is not replacing itself. Our old age pension system depends on a constant stream of new workers to support it. Genius move cutting off the supply of new workers because you hate immigration.

Bondi: "It's extremely organized. The signs they have are all matching, they're well written. And look at what's happening today. How did these people go out & get gas masks? These protesters. Would you know how to walk out on the street and buy a gas mask? Think about that. We're not gonna have it"

Over 1/2 of this debt has occurred on Tom Cotton’s watch. If you want to see the national debt grow, re-elect Tom Cotton.
▪️The U.S. debt has reached 100% of our GDP, meaning total debt is equal to the size of our entire economy.

▪️The interest costs on that debt have climbed to over $1 trillion.

▪️In trump's first year of this 2nd term debt grew by $2.25 trillion, the largest single-year increase on record.
'Some form of crisis is almost inevitable': The $38 trillion national debt will soon be growing faster than the U.S. economy itself, watchdog warns | Fortune
