Video Editor/Filmmaker with rejection sensitive dysphoria foolishly trying to be noticed on a social media site. Is this a recipe for disaster? You betcha! Sometimes posts animation clips from film I’m working on.

I am still making this very long animated film.

”Woody Allen subreddit.”

Shudder.

Three simple words when put together tell a horrifying story.
The Woody Allen subreddit is in complete denial that Woody did anything wrong, claiming it's all a smear campaign. Delusional!

One of my fave misdirects in movie history.
For years some of the worst Eva fans were apoplectic 2.0 ended with Shinji "saving the girl & being a badass".
They felt it betrayed the series.
Then 3.0 was all about how Shinji putting his emotions & wants above everyone else is destructive & wrong.

THE SECRET AGENT is a great movie & Wagner Moura walks around in it with this incredible bag and I want it.
Does anyone know what this kind of bag is called & who/where I could get one like this?
I feel like having one would make me feel like less of a fake adult.

The issue isn't whether "Melania" is a good movie or a bad one. It's that one of the richest men in America, with business interests affected by public policy, gave the President's family $75 million to make it. Like that's somehow legal.

Why isn’t Shea Whigham in ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING?
They should fix that.

So many of Kou's troubles wouldn't have been an issue if he had taste and had been interested in this large dommy hottie instead of the silly dumb blonde who carried a torch for a dull mass-murdering fascist.

“ugh don’t make me defend Don Lemon/Jimmy Kimmel/etc.” I have to break it to you that it was always gonna be guys like that, they care about people with actual reach who, as a result, are probably cringe and/or have lame politics. they don’t care what cool people do.

This is fascinating — must read for anyone who cares about movie culture.

But also!

I loathe that the "social embargo" and the "review embargo" are two different things. The "social embargo" is for people shouting "BEST MOVIE EVAR" on X — and then a few days later, the bad reviews come out.
Was surprised how many people noticed the abundance of influencers WB invited to the WUTHERING HEIGHTS premiere. I used that to talk about influencers as celebrities, their lack of transparency on the pay for play model, and trying to be "honest" in their reviews.

After much deliberation, my Cameron (no documentaries) ranking:

1. AVATAR: The Way of Water
2. AVATAR
3. AVATAR: Fire & Ash
4. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
5. Titanic
6. Aliens
7. The Abyss
8. The Terminator
9. True Lies

What can I say? I dig Pandora.

(8 are 5 star masterpieces. TL is 4.5 stars.)

It's funny knowing Sam Mendes is going to make four deathly serious movies about the Beatles as conflicted serious moody artists when the real guys at their cultural peak where mostly silly dudes having fun and writing songs about Yellow Submarines and Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da's.

MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM I.
I'm getting back in the Gundam for my workouts & started my Many Gundam Watches of 2026 with the first compilation film & surprised how much this ruled. Most compilation films blow but unlike most this is edited to feel like a real movie & not a clip show. Big fan.

I think this whole "4 movies being made at the same time about the Beatles" is a silly thing BUT if it turned out each of the 4 movies was made in a completley different genre and one of them was a horror movie going "What if George Harrison was Charles Manson" I'd be a bit more interested.
