There has been a noticeable reticence in left and liberal circles to voice full-throated support for pornography, even as it's become increasingly clear what the open end goals of the censorship movement are
In a lot of ways other leftists chose this path folks. They shrugged and didn’t care when Patreon banned a ton of hypnosis and TF creators, or when YouTube started their ASMR crackdown. Now it’s coming for queer porn creators, more and more. Who will stand up?

so many people are lending a hand to fascists when they police each other on "acceptable" nsfw content and get too scared to stand up for sw'ers and artists when the worst thay could happen to them is get called problematic by other puritans

I have been having A LOT of fun with this game, but finding out they used AI voices, I'm dropping it immediately despite how many hours I've sunk into it. This is unfortunate, and I wish they would do better.

The same people demanding to know why the use of AI voices in Arc Raiders would cause a review score to drop so low fail to understand that now it’s actually being widely discussed, as opposed to swept under the rug.
I'm a bit surprised I've not heard of this being brought up more on the news cycle. But I guess a big name review is one way to do it.
For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

One thing I’ve learned about VO land is you can abuse friends + partners, ruin people’s reputations or lives, throw everyone under the bus, use people as stepping stones, behave unprofessionally, violate NDAs, recast projects and lie about why
