Alright, I got the car's oil changed, went to the car wash, returned things to two different stores, cleaned up a bit, made my colonoscopy appt, did a load of laundry, and got the kids' art ready for an awards ceremony tonight. That's all I can do today.

We are going to Moab tomorrow for the long weekend. We did the same last year, and it was over the inauguration. I remember driving back and catching up on three days of news, hoping by some miracle the inauguration didn't happen. It feels impossible that that was only a year ago.

Both my older kids have googled something for a school project recently and said "what, that's not right" when the AI summary popped up. That's correct. The AI summary is not right. Never trust it.
The increasingly common habit of screenshotting the AI summary of a Google search and presenting it as evidence must be nipped in the bud immediately. That is nothing. That is not anything, it is not a thing.

This is so disheartening to see from Sens Warren and Blumenthal. To not understand at this point that the Trump admin will immediately weaponize this bill against the LGBTQ community is to be willfully and purposely stupid.

In December it felt like it was getting noticeably darker day by day, so I was expecting it to be getting noticeably lighter out in the mornings by now and it is simply not happening. Still seeing stars in the sky when I take H to the bus stop. Boo.
