The role of grassroots sport is really important in fostering strong connections to the community. It was good to discuss that, and cricket provision across North Shropshire, with Cricket Shropshire and the England Cricket Board at Whittington Cricket Club yesterday.

Enjoyable day at West Felton Carnival talking to residents. Started the day manning one of the road closure positions again, before manning the parish council stand on the playing field. Well done to the carnival committee and volunteers for pulling off another great carnival

With a longer campaign there is no doubt that Matthew would have won. With a full campaign ahead of the next General Election there shouldn't be any doubt that he would smash it, but only with everybody's help. You know what to do. www.libdems.org.uk/volunteer
#LibDems have started process of selecting. I am up for it, & motivated to fight the 3 1/2 year campaign. I cannot do it alone.
If I’m candidate again, will you help me campaign to give #SouthShropshire the competent progressive representation it deserves, & help resist rise of divisive populism?
