A cynical cat
This is exactly right.
Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

So. Exposing potential pedophiles as well as enablers who knew or suspected but said nothing - pedophiles and enablers who should be equally reviled by all and prosecuted, no matter the party affiliation of the offender - exposing them would damage the GOP according to Rep. Clay Higgins
Clay is worried that releasing the Epstein files will “injure the Republican Party.”

Go to your pharmacies website and look at all the vaccines. Get what you never got. Get a prescription for RSV vaccine from your doctor if you are under the age. Even consider MPOX because it would protect against smallpox if bad actor releases it. We may not have this option next year.

You left out key information. He is not too old, if the alternative is a vibrant, smart, and qualified Black woman.
Is Donald Trump too old to be President?

It's intentional. Musk, et AI, convinced a party of idiots led by their Supreme Grifter that withdrawing all money from govt services and grants and throwing it toward AI and crypto would lead to utopia (for the 10 percent).
From me today: Squinting at GDP numbers, it's become clear that A.I. is propping up the economy -- not through productivity growth, but simply the sheer amount of money going into physical infrastructure needed to support all the computing power it gobbles up.

Oh now I see. Trump had to turn that valve using force. That must be how he bruised his hand. It's not at all because he is elderly and senile.

It's ok. The new statistician will make sure it's not reflected in the jobs report. Nor all the researchers who are losing work because grants were cut, or the people being let go from tech companies, or the truckers who would have had lots more goods to transport before tariffs. It will be fine.
There will be some 300,000 fewer federal workers on the government payroll by the end of December than there were in January, according to the Trump administration. The reduction would be the largest single-year decline in civilian federal employment since World War II.

Where can I see these scorecards? I would love a definitive list of whom I should stop patronizing.
NEW REPORT by Axios says the White House keeps scorecards measuring the loyalty of 553 corporations to President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful” bill.

An ideology that failed under Mussolini, Hitler, Franco, and Portugal’s António de Oliveira Salazar gets taken out for another spin.

I certainly hope the settlement includes a stipulation that Newsmax must cover the fact of their settlement during primetime X number of times a day for X number of months or years. Otherwise they know they get away with it all because they don't have to tell their viewers they were in the wrong.

Nobody is talking about it - but it seems certain the plan is to keep DC increasingly militarized forever. Certainly including during and after elections.

My father passed away in 2018. He spent his career as an analyst in the CIA, retired since the early 90s. He even gave a presidential daily brief a few times on some topics. He died absolutely convinced that Trump is a Russian asset.
I don’t know if Trump is a or is not a Russian asset. But he sure acted like one today.

Look at those over 65 holding steady. Good evidence that the particular voting block is too old to either care or understand what is going on. I wouldn't draw the line at 65, but at this point I don't ever want another politician or judge over 70. Look at the damage the demographic has done.

Aren't the newscasts themselves in cities? Along with the newscasters homes? And all the people with money? Why aren't they all scared of the crime they are portraying?? Why aren't they living out in the boondocks with the trailer parks where it is safe?????
I need to make an alt account that’s just “republicans being scared of cities”

No. But the Epstein story is already fading, judging by my Blue sky feed. What is needed is amplification. A Non-partisan protest day across the country demanding that we all see which elites are being protected. Getting all of us together against pedophiles may actually help get him out.

Bezos is too distracted by his boob job bimbo to care any longer.
What’s weird about this account — and I am sure it’s accurate — is that it doesn’t describe an Bezos transforming the paper into a right wing outlet. It describes the kind of incompetent and destructive management that Bezos supposedly will not stand for in his businesses.
