IL election judge here and we dont require an ID to vote (its required when you register to vote). We DO require a signature match, and that signature is verified by *both* a Republican and Democratic judge. My precinct is senior farmers, 90% GOP, and the elderly women are going to be in for a shock

CBS not airing James Talarico’s interview with Stephen Colbert because they were supposedly worried about FCC backlash is a really big deal. Stephen Colbert was told not to say anything and did so anyways. This man is not getting enough credit for standing up for free speech.

Honoring Jesse Jackson is simply remembering your are somebody. Saw him at Syracuse University in 1993 and yes, he did offer that famous call-and-respond at the end of his talk. Deep and profound and needed more than ever now.
