The people complaining about the pacing in #StrangerThings season 5 have clearly never sat through an old #DoctorWho serial. It's got cosmic fantasy/horror elements juxtaposed against a bunch of off-beat character interactions, humor, and weird bits that come out of nowhere to expand the lore.

Finally finished the first Crystal Dynamics #TombRaider trilogy (Legend-Anniversary-Underworld). I still have the Xbox-only DLC for Underworld to play, but it makes me realize how much the franchise has changed since 2008. I hope the next game is a return to this kind of lighthearted escapism.

Just posting Dr. Abigail Finn, a one-off side character from 2003 TMNT, for no reason whatsoever.
I really wish they'd used her more than once, but it was nice to see her pop up in Last Ronin.

I see a lot of people blaming the comics industry for the 6-figure debt that Peter David’s medical struggle put him into. But please, please don’t forget to blame the United States, where not having affordable health care is a personal failing not a community issue.

I'm not preordering a switch 2. There just aren't enough games to justify the price for me right now. I have literally thousands upon thousands of games to play already. No hate, no streamer fomo either, but that 400+ dollars can buy a lot of my favorite sandwiches and some canvasses for art, etc.

I've yet to have anyone explain coherently why forcing artists to "opt out" of their work being stolen is ok and workable, or indeed any different than me stealing my neighbour's car because they didn't opt out from their car being stolen.

In a strange way the internet *feels* very *dead* to me lately. It's almost as if over time people get tired of an impossible battle with bs & nonsense aimed at making them angry. Reasonable folks at the very least move on to a hobby or game, literally anything to avoid the tired old circular talks.
