Lucy Letby should not have been convicted.
The Panorama show on Lucy Letby got crucial matters wrong--as the BBC had now admitted. I suggest watching the excellent ITV show: 'Lucy Letby: Beyond Reasonable Doubt?'
I watched that new Panorama episode about Lucy Letby, and honestly the more I learn about this case the more convinced I become that the jury got it right.

Considering who accused Lucy Letby your 'demographic' analysis is one sided. And in fact many of her key supporters are women eg. Prof. Neena Modi, Felicity Lawrence, Cleuci di Oliveira, Sarah Knapton, Prof Nalini Singhal, Stephanie Hegarty, Prof. Jane Hutton, Stephanie Davies, Karen Rees.
But you better believe that the fact Letby is white and a pretty young blonde has a lot to do with it. The core demographic of the "Free Letby" campaign is middle-aged, middle-class cishet white men and it's not hard to pick up on what the appeal is for them.

Evidence has been uncovered that seems to show that the police paid about 8k to one of the hosts of the Daily Mail Lucy Letby podcast DURING her trial. (Details can be found on 'X'.) The DM Podcast's presentation of the trial influenced public views of the case, and jurors could have seen it.

An insulin test helped convict Lucy Letby. This was always suspect: you do not need to be an expert to know that a medical test might be flawed. And now we learn that the test WAS flawed. Very flawed. It is ever more obvious that Ms Letby is innocent.

Today I went to protest the continued imprisonment of Lucy Letby, a nurse wrongly convicted of seven baby murders here in the UK.

An international panel of medical experts has agreed there is NO EVIDENCE of murder, only evidence of systemic failures and poor practice.

Excellent idea. And if the MP says they cannot interfere with judicial decisions, tell them that Lucy Letby case is such a terrible miscarriage of justice and flagrant abuse of process, that they need to make an exception, just as they did with the post office scandal.
Lucy Letby : If you feel there has been a miscarriage of justice or you have a deep unease about the case, you can email your MP via the link below.

This interesting post explains how Lucy Letby, if guilty, must had had almost supernatural foresight. It nicely highlights some of the absurdity of the prosecution case.

Last year Janet Cox, a fellow nurse of Lucy Letby, told the Thirlwall Inquiry that Lucy is innocent. Now, after Dr Shoo Lee's findings, almost everyone says that Ms Letby is innocent, but back then, this was a brave thing to do.

Lucy Letby has been the victim of a terrible miscarriage of justice, something that must be of particular concern for other nurses. Hopefully, now that Dr Shoo Lee and his panel of neonatologists have found that no crimes at all had been committed against the babies, Ms Letby will soon be released.
‘Compelling’ evidence in favour of Letby, her lawyer claims

Lucy Letby's barrister has told Nursing Times his team has "hope" that her conviction could be overturned, after a review found no medical evidence that the former neonatal nurse harmed babies. #letby

When Lucy Letby is freed, we in Britain will realise that we owe a huge debt to Dr Shoo Lee and the panel, more than we can ever repay--so it's lucky they've done everything for nothing!
February 9, 2025 at 10:18 PM
Dr Shoo Lee and panel investigated the true causes of the baby deaths and injuries attributed to Lucy Letby for free, but what they have done is invaluable. They have not just resolved a terrible miscarriage of justice but also-if we have any sense-started us on the road to badly needed reform.

Lucy Letby is innocent! Dr Shoo Lee and an expert panel of neonatologists found all deaths and collapses due to natural causes and errors. Once he got into the details of specific cases, Dr Lee also had a real knack for explaining things to a non-medical audience. www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0nm...

I am very optimistic about the Lucy Letby press conference on Tuesday 4th February. Neonatologist Dr Shoo Lee and other experts may provide definitive explanations for how babies died or collapsed. If the experts identify natural causes and accidents then Ms Letby, I hope, will soon be free.
