The BMA love a derogation dispute. It deflects attention from the cynical harm they are doing to patients and the NHS.
"As doctors, we at the BMA wish to ensure that, while resident doctors are taking lawful industrial action, patients remain safe"

Today, @tomdolphin.bsky.social and @redrunswick.bsky.social have written to NHS leaders to ensure the derogations system is used properly during strike action 👇

Apart from the obvious answer with regard to the fee income involved, does anyone know why the British Courts continue to deal with business and divorce cases relating to Russian citizens, some of whom have links to Putin? Time this was stopped.

Christopher Harborne is by far the largest donor to Nigel Farage he has donated £13.7m since 2019.

He lives in Thailand and owns QinetiQ defence company which makes Laser and AI weapons for the USA.

Nigel Farage is literally owned by the US Military Industrial Complex.

That’s a striking example of how “levelling up” rhetoric often hides massive private enrichment. The Teesside deal has become a case study in how opaque post-Brexit funding and deregulation can funnel public wealth into private hands — with little accountability or community return.

Just watched `The Librarians` on Storyville. A chilling and depressing tale but great that the BBC schedules things like this as well as the rest of the dross. Does help to explain Trump and a real warning sign for Britain not to let these loonies take over here.
