I've been on a bit of the old "Command and Conquer" kick recently. Especially Tiberian Dawn era. However, looking at what happens to the planet between 1995 and 203- something C&C3, Tiberian Wars, has got me thinking it could make for a great co-operative experience.

I have these on Laserdisc because I am the only person I know with a laserdisc player (my mom got it as a birthday present from one of her brothers in the early 90's and it's still trucking). I'm glad the original films will see the light of day (or a projector) again.
The best thing Disney has done since Aladdin. Maybe the only thing that could get me into a movie theater on opening day ever again.

i posted about this in a different context but mutual aid networks are also a lifeline for trans people and between the tech layoffs hitting trans people and minorities particular hard, purging military and tying to across goverments those networks have definitely gotten devastated
"Demeaning" trans people is exactly right. Their goal--and what they're most able to easily achieve--is our humiliation. The imposition of indignities. They also hope that, as humiliations often do, it exposes us to ridicule. Perhaps even violence. (e.g. forcibly outing people on their IDs).
It's really frustrating that a lot of the media just sort of frames the Trump admin as "wading into a hot debate over trans issues that have roiled american politics" when it's like, clear that they are motivated by a desire to demean trans people

Like, this is why they're targetting those organisations. They're shooting fish in a barrel because they know those organisations can't fight back. The organsiations that want to be trans inclusive are allies, not the enemy. Don't let the actual villains convince you otherwise

My desktop has been getting increasingly unreliable. I have changed the graphics card out just over a month ago, and was still getting random freezing. Now I’m also getting black-screen of death. I fear that my CPU is fucked.
