I've seen a few variations of this in museums and the point always seems to be undermined by the "touched" artefact looking way better than the perfectly preserved one.

I had an establishing care appt with a new GP, and the nurse doing the standard mental health intake questions asks "In the past two weeks have you had feelings of anxiousness or hopelessness?" and I just started laughing and said "Come ON." She laughed and said "I'll put down no, but.. yeah."

Today I missed a train because my bus decided to do a random unscheduled 10 minute stop. Then the train I did get was delayed. Then I got on the Bakerloo line and the train broke.

Really hoping that this (and Owen Cooper in Adolescence) is the start of a turnaround for the UK film/TV industry. I’d gotten so used to all upcoming UK actors being from London that I was genuinely shocked to hear Alfie Williams still talking with a Newcastle accent in interviews.
