personally I found the challenge pretty easy. here's a quick sketch I threw together

The "sketches" are clearly generated by AI as well.

L: GenAI image models default to "hot chick" for women and it takes some work to drag them away from it

R: AI simply cannot generate a coherent window.

perfect meta moment when one of them attempts to explain the point of the comic

Google bragging about AI Overview (which cannot be disabled except through third party extensions/hacks) having "2 billion users every month."

Weather apps swearing it’s 2 degrees Celsius and only “feels like” -1 when I can see ice forming on the cars.

I do think paper played an enormous role in how much realism advanced during the Renaissance. To learn anatomy you have to practice it over and over again and have space to get things wrong. That wasn't really possible before paper became widely and cheaply available.

The business's website is entirely copy/pasted from another local storage company. On one page they even forgot to change the name.

Aside from being an absurd defence, it's also an outright lie.
November 15, 2025 at 8:48 PM
If it's not AI then the artist should be able to answer one simple question:

Why is Tywin Lannister wearing a crown?
November 15, 2025 at 3:18 PM
Nope. And the worst part is how the company founders Natasha Lyonne and Bryn Mooser are going around bragging that their AI model exclusively uses licensed material. Lyonne even scolded other AI companies for not doing AI ethically like Asteria supposedly is.
November 15, 2025 at 1:33 PM
Yup, someone who works at Asteria did an interview where she explains that they’re just using Stable Diffusion and “fine-tuning” it. So the ethical AI thing is a lie. www.businessinsider.com/career-advic...

I do wonder if it’s because Europe only started using ink about 1000 years after China and realised that it was too late to catch up. And so to save face we just pretend that ink painting isn’t a thing.
