Reminds me of going to my ex-husband's parents house. They had a big Alsatian (Buddy) who was an absolute love bug. I heard a knock at the door one afternoon, ex-mil said "oh, that's no legs..." I'm standing about to answer the door & staring at her 👀

Just thinking about how I should probably make time for a big cry today when this popped into my feed. 28yrs of living life in very small windows has me weary.

It's a year ago this week when I got the all clear after a red flag biopsy. I was lucky enough that the surgeon told me on the day that he didn't think he was looking at cancer. Also lucky that I didn't suffer the uterine/bowel perforation, sepsis & death that they were concerned about 👀 😄 🙈

We're having weird hm soup for lunch. It was a 'what ever is there' soup. Sweet potato, cauliflower, coconut milk, home made stock, sprinkle of cayenne pepper blended, then a tin of chickpeas and garden peas thrown in. Might add small cubes of tofu to up the protein and roll with the randomness.
