The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

“Some of these people trying to define the future of humanity, creativity or whatever it is, using AI, are not the most humane or creative people,” he said. “So they're sort of saying we're better at being human than you are. And it’s obviously not true."

"Streaming tem tudo"
Não tem
"Streaming é a melhor solução"

This is an odd situation, and genuinely one worth reading about if you actually Do care about games as art

Because is there challenging, troubling imagery in the game? Sure, yes

Is any of it like- porn or whatever? No. Not even remotely. But this is why rulings against porn media hurt everyone.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

This is one of the things I hate most about modern capitalism. The idea of making money has been fully peeled away from delivering any kind of goods or services that people would want to pay money for.
