Believer in rule of law above all other things. I don't care how many people follow me. I'm not here to entertain. I want to raise the level of discourse and learn.
So, isn't there a pretty good chance that Russia will find a way to help Venezuela?

Schumer's almost ready to start thinking about the possibility of impeachment, but first let's see if we can get Republicans to slow him down before we talk about impeachment.

What a fighter!
Asked about the possibility of impeachment, Schumer says "we hope that we can have support from our Republican colleagues to put a brake on this long before it gets that far"

There's a lot to be outraged about when discussing the attack on Venezuela, but the fact that it was not authorized by Congress is one of the LEAST outrageous things. Presidents have ignored Congress more often than not, including Korea (1950s), Vietnam (1960-70s), Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.

If I'm storing a small batch of fireworks for use at an unknown future date (perhaps weeks but possibly years off), what is the best way to store them? It is very important that they work when needed.

If this thing happens during the day, should I wait until it's dark out before launching them?

Why is he taking the tests? Is he concerned about his mental decline, so he's taking the tests voluntarily? That's hard to believe. Is he being forced to take the tests? If so, by whom? Who has that power over him? Is he taking experimental drugs and the tests are a part of the protocol?

Stewardship. Understanding that you didn't make it, you don't own it, but you are 100% responsible for it and responsible to it.

The polar opposite of Trumpism.

Fear not, no white Christian nationalists were threatened by this message.
This should not be shrugged aside. They have stopped with the fake 22 million illegal immigrants things and are flat out saying we want to deport 10's of millions of citizens and legal residents from "third world countries" Basically they are advocating removing 1/3 of the population on a gov site.

It is kind of wild that no big media outlet has busted open the story of who is making DHS' posts on X. Whoever that may be is certainly plugged into hardcore white supremacist internet propaganda with a harder edge. "Groyper" would be underselling it. This is Daily Stormer-tier sludge.

My wish for 2026 (and beyond) is that the Democratic Party finds a way to rally a broad and diverse voter base with clear objectives and principles; and that the entire voter base is willing to accept what is better for them, even if it is not exactly what they want.
