I have, and will continue to, criticize ICE's enforcement.

Publicly. Repeatedly. As is my first amendment right.
The New York Times reports that the Department of Homeland Security has sent Google, Meta, and other media corporations subpoenas for the names on accounts that criticize ICE enforcement. The department wants to identify Americans who oppose what it’s doing. I’ll save them time.

This is the best thread I’ve ever started whoops gotta go the MacArthur Foundation is trying to ram checks through the mail slots.
This picture was taken by my daughter when she dangled Maisy’s favorite toy right in front of Maisy.

If you like, you can do the same with your dog and post a picture in this thread.

I think if people did that, we’d all benefit.

On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

Harold and Maude is one of those movies it took me way too many years to finally watch, and when I finally did, boy did I feel dumb for waiting. Sooo good. If you haven’t watched it…here’s a nudge. RIP Bud Cort.
RIP Bud Cort. How else would you even pay tribute to him.

Please don't think anything is back to normal in Minnesota. Nothing is normal.

I know we’re strong. Don’t know if it’s enough.

If you don't live here, your Minnesota friends may tell you that it's going to be okay but I think a lot of that is them being nice so you won't worry.

It's bad here.
JUST IN: Authorities are at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in St. Paul that's believed to have involved federal immigration agents.

There’s a sentiment among some locals that eyes on Minnesota are waning. The situation has NOT changed here.

Local resistance is tired, but of course never giving up. Please stay plugged into the news of the Minneapolis ICE occupation and donate where able.

We need endurance in this moment.

Once every decade some advertiser rediscovers Trio, and their Trio and Error album. I’ll admit, I’m here for it. But I will point out I bought the LP in college.

It would be so much easier to follow this big air final if they kept the competitor’s name on the screen the whole time…and place in the standings.

There is no evidence supporting a delay in the hepatitis B birth dose.
